【7/1 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Good job everyone! Now let's go with Dollar/Yen scalping again tonight!
First, from today's Tokyo time overview.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 143.60. This morning it started around 144.00, but during Tokyo time the Q2 BoJ Outlook for Large Manufacturers unexpectedly improved, raising expectations for additional BoJ rate hikes, which pushed the yen higher.
Also, President Trump’s handwritten letter to Fed Chair Powell requesting a rate cut became one factor weighing on USD/JPY, suggesting a tendency for any rebounds to be sold.
From the morning levels, about a 40-pip decline would likely carry over to the overseas session.
Now, here are tonight's USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movement near the London market open around 16:00
● Movement near the New York market open around 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movement after the release of the US ISM Manufacturing PMI and US JOLTS at 23:00

● Be mindful of remarks by central bank presidents (ECB Forum discussions)
● Be mindful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping will aim to accumulate profits from movements near market opens plus after the 23:00 ISM Manufacturing PMI and JOLTS releases. Users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club” should manage entries as per theory without issue.
Also, the 15-minute short-only scalping is likely to be sold-off due to strong BoJ Outlook and Trump’s rate-cut demand, which also seems to offer opportunities. If a slight pullback allows selling around 144, we will enter this setup.
