[6/25 USD/JPY Scalping Points]
Good work today! Let’s do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, the overview for Tokyo time today.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 145.15. The pair started this morning around 144.85, but during Tokyo hours the easing of Middle East concerns and rising expectations for a July rate cut in the U.S. caused the prior wave of dollar selling to pause for a while. It is now moving without a clear direction in the upper 144s.
Last night, in the congressional testimony, Fed Chair Powell stated that “if inflation is not as strong as expected and the labor market does not deteriorate, there is a possibility of tightening policy sooner than anticipated,” which has increased expectations for a July rate cut in the U.S., so will the outlook remain lower after this? By the way, Powell will speak again tonight.
From the early levels, there will be about a 30-pip rise as we pass the baton to overseas time.
Now, the points for USD/JPY scalping tonight.
● Movements around 16:00 London market open
● Movements around 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the release of “US New Home Sales” and after “Powell’s congressional testimony”

● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
For the 1-minute chart scalping tonight, the idea is to accumulate profits from the market open moves plus after the 23:00 release of “US New Home Sales” and after “Powell’s congressional testimony.” For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” processing according to the theory should be fine.
Also, the 15-minute chart scalping, which is short-only, may continue to show dollar selling due to easing Middle East concerns and rising expectations for a July rate cut in the U.S., so there could be opportunities there as well. If it forms a pattern to sell around the 145 level, I will enter.
