【6/18 USD/JPY Scalp Points】
Good work everyone! Alright, let's go with USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, the overview of Tokyo time today.
Currently USD/JPY is around 144.95 yen. This morning it started around the 145.20 yen level, but in the early Tokyo session, as Middle East tensions continued, risk-off dollar buying pushed it to a high of about 145.45 yen for the day in Asian hours after 8:30 JST.
However, this evening the US FOMC is ahead, and after that buying did not continue, and position-adjustment selling emerged, causing a gradual decline.
From the morning level, about 25 pips lower, it looks like it will hand over to overseas time.
Now, here are the points for USD/JPY scalping tonight.
● Moves around the 16:00 London market open
● Moves after the 21:30 release of US Initial Jobless Claims and US Housing Starts/Building Permits
● Moves around the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
For tonight's 1-minute scalping, the plan is to capitalize on moves around market openings plus the after-events of 21:30 US Initial Jobless Claims and US Housing Starts/Building Permits. For users of the “1-minute Scalping Club,” if you follow the theory, there should be no problem. Also at 27:00 the US FOMC policy rate and statement will be announced, and at 27:30 Chair Powell's press conference; I will trade if I can stay awake. If I can stay awake…
Also, for the 15-minute short-only scalping, amid Middle East tensions there was some risk-off dollar buying, but ahead of the US FOMC, if position-adjustment selling comes in, there could be a chance. If we can sell near the 145 level, I will enter.
