[6/11 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points]
Good work everyone! Let's go ahead with dollar/yen scalping again tonight!
First, the Tokyo session overview for today.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 145.00. This morning it started around 144.80, and during the Tokyo session there is slightly more dollar buying, but the sense of direction remains unsettled.
Although US-China trade negotiations have ended, there are statements from officials that make it hard to judge whether progress was made, leaving the market in a difficult state. We will continue to wait for progress in the US-China trade talks.
From the morning level, it seems to be about 20 pips higher as we move into overseas trading.
Now, here are tonight's USD/JPY scalping points.
● Around 16:00 London market open movements
● Movements after the US CPI release at 21:30
● Around the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
—–
● Be mindful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight, the 1-minute chart scalping envisions adding to profits with the moves around each market open plus after the 21:30 US CPI release. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” if you trade according to the theory, there should be no issue.
Also, the 15-minute chart scalping focused on shorts may present opportunities if the US-China trade progress remains indeterminate and dollar selling resumes. If the price can be sold around the mid-144s or higher, we will enter.
With that, overseas trading will begin shortly!
[Main US Indicators/Events on 6/11]
● 21:30 US CPI/Core CPI
—–
● 23:30 US Crude Oil Inventories
—–
● 26:00 US 10-year Treasury Note Auction
—–
For USD/JPY scalpers, please note the timing and avoid entering right before indicators/events.
In fact, one of my trading methods, the “15-minute scalping” using the 15-minute chart, is fully published for free.
I hope it proves helpful, though it is completely free.
