【6/9 USD/JPY scalping points】
Thank you for your hard work! Now let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently USD/JPY is around 144 yen 45 sen. This morning the pair started around 144 yen 75 sen, and during Tokyo time there were moments near the midpoint around 144 yen 95 sen, but afterward it tended to move with a slightly stronger dollar on the defensive.
Today (6/9) ahead of the U.S.-China trade negotiations, positions are being adjusted.
From the morning levels, it looks like a drop of about 30 sen will be handed off to overseas time.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping are as follows.
● Around 16:00, London market open movements
● Around 22:00, New York market open movements (Dow opens at 22:30)
—–
● Be mindful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping is expected to rely on movements around each market open, with profit-taking in those ranges since there isn’t any particular market-moving material. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” handling as per the theory should be fine.
Additionally, the 15-minute scalping, which is short-selling focused, may present a chance if selling pressure arises ahead of the U.S.-China trade negotiations scheduled for today. If it forms a setup to sell around the mid-144 yen level, I will enter.
Now, overseas time will start shortly!
【6/9・Main U.S. indicators/events】
● There are no particularly important U.S. indicators or events today
—–Dollar/Yen scalpers should watch the clock and avoid entering right before indicators/events.
In fact, one of my trading methods, the “15-minute scalping using the 15-minute chart,” is fully released for free.
I hope it proves helpful, even if only a little. (Completely free, by the way.)
