【6/5 Dollar/Yen Scalp Points】
Good work, everyone! Tonight let's continue with dollar-yen scalping!
First, from today's Tokyo time overview.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 143.05. This morning, it started around 142.70, and during Tokyo hours it rebounded slightly from yesterday's overseas session decline, but largely remained in the lower range.
By the way, yesterday's overseas session decline was driven by the US ADP employment report showing the lowest growth in about two years, and the US ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI falling below 50, signaling a downturn; the impact of US Trump-era tariffs was highlighted as a factor.
From the morning levels, about 35 pips higher is expected as a handoff to overseas time.
From here, the market may lean toward dollar selling due to caution ahead of tomorrow's US employment report.
Now, here are tonight's USD/JPY scalping points.
● Around 16:00 London market open movements
● Movements after the release of US Initial Jobless Claims and US Trade Balance at 21:30
● Movements around the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
—–
● Pay attention to remarks from US officials
● Pay attention to headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping aims to accumulate profits from market open dynamics plus the moves after the 21:30 releases. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” it should be fine as long as you follow the theory.
Also, the short-only 15-minute scalp may favor dollar selling due to caution ahead of tomorrow’s US employment report, presenting potential opportunities. If a setup appears around the 143 yen level, I will enter.
Now, the overseas session is about to begin!
