【6/3 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Good work everyone! Alright, let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, the overview of Tokyo time today.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 142.80. This morning, USD/JPY started around 142.60, but in the early Tokyo session, the trend of overseas selling of dollars from last night continued, with a move down to around 142.40.
However, after Governor Ueda of the Bank of Japan stated in the Diet that “we will not hurry to tighten policy just to secure room for future rate cuts,” it immediately rebounded. It rose to around 143.25 in the early afternoon Japan time.
Nevertheless, the wariness of US tariffs on Trump remains strong, and afterward there was a brief pullback, with a rise of about 20 pips from the morning levels as trading moved into overseas hours.
Now, here are the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around the London market open at 16:00
● Movements around the New York market open at 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the release of the US ISM Manufacturing Index at 23:00

● Pay attention to US officials’ remarks
● Pay attention to headlines related to the Trump administration
For the one-minute chart scalping tonight, I expect to accumulate profits not only from market open movements but also from the post-23:00 release of the US JOLTS job openings data. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” handling as per theory should be fine.
Also, the short‑term 15-minute scalping, which is a pure sell strategy, saw some yen selling on Governor Ueda’s remarks, but fears of US tariffs remain strong, so there may be opportunities. If it retraces a little and reaches around 143 yen, I’ll look to enter a short position.
