About 90% of them related to investments such as stocks and FX.
From that time I began learning about investing.
Furthermore, I realized I could apply my programming skills to this field. |

Yes, I started investing in the US stock market first.
With a technical background, I used technical analysis.
I tried various methods using technical indicators as well as pure price action, and I experienced many failures. |

The presence of a legendary trader completely rewrote my mindset

In the meantime, there was an event that completely changed my trading mindset.
It was my encounter with the legendary trader Jesse Livermore's “breakout method.”
After achieving a certain level of success, I tried this method in the FX market and confirmed its effectiveness.
Furthermore, I felt it could be applied to cryptocurrencies as well. |

Grow investments over the long term.
I no longer fixate on short-term losses or gains.
If assets grow by 10–30% per year, I see that as a big success and am satisfied with that level of profit. |

Since 2020, I have achieved a stable annual growth of about 30%.
However, the first two to three years had losses.
After that, by utilizing tools I developed, I gradually started to generate profits and have continued to the present. |

| What specific actions or strategies did you focus on to achieve success? |

Using the tools I developed, I aimed to increase win rate while eliminating emotions in trading.
Because I believe trading is a combination of statistical probability and human emotion.
By centering on the breakout method and combining with other tools, I have achieved more effective trading. |

Three years of failures. The cause was overtrading driven by emotions.

I was constantly driven by FOMO (fear of missing out) and over-traded, which led to failures in the first 2–3 years.
The cause was the psychology of not wanting to admit defeat to the market, which caused me to trade emotionally.
Even when I incurred losses, I didn’t accept them and sometimes tried to recover them by forcing trades. |

The biggest lesson is that you lose when you are ruled by emotions.
Therefore, I decided to treat investing as mathematical probabilities and create a strategy that is not swayed by emotions. |
