A quick recap of this week's USD/JPY.
We prepare a short video for verification each week, so I will first paste that here.

At the start of the week, after breaking the recent trough, the anticipated head-and-shoulders formation was in focus, but the light shoulder appeared to respect the trendline, and since it pierced above the left shoulder, the subsequent decline seemed weaker.
Friday, often watchedMA (Moving Average)converged, making it a stable area where movements were hard to push strongly in either direction.
* Movements after MA convergence tend to become larger.

What stands out is that the weekly chart is in a triangle consolidation (ZigZag is purple).
The monthly chart also shows a triangle consolidation (ZigZag is purple).
The monthly triangle is a descending triangle that tends to indicate further downside, while the weekly triangle is a directionless triangle (a symmetrical triangle).
Going forward, the weekly triangle may form a bearish triangle, and later, a new low on the monthly chart could lead to a larger drop.
Preconceptions are harmful, so please do not rely on this as a reference.

Even by looking at the line, there are strongly watched resistances at the monthly white circle and the weekly white circle, above and below.
Recently, moves can be swayed by important statements, so it’s hard to say, but by Dow Theory, lines, and MA, next week could see a low-volatility environment, so plan accordingly.
If you chase the trend in that case, you may get burned, so if you trade, it might be wise to consider taking both sides while watching for a breakout.
In the near term, I’d like to observe whether the nearest one-hour high or low will be broken first.
* The white circles and white lines in the reference images were added later.
