[5/28 USD/JPY scalping points]
Good work everyone! Let’s do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently USD/JPY is around 144.05. This morning USD/JPY started around 144.35, but during Tokyo time it remained volatile today as well due to headlines from US and Japanese financial authorities.
When Bank of Japan Governor Ueda said he wanted to watch for a rise in ultra-long-term yields, it was a factor for yen buying, while New York Fed President Williams said that if inflation begins to deviate from the central bank's goal, a relatively strong response will be needed, which was a factor for dollar buying.
However, from the upper 144s, the upside was heavy, and it seems more like a downside bias. There are many who will actively sell, it seems.
Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movements near the London market open at 16:00
● Movements near the New York market open at 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after 27:00 following the release of the U.S. FOMC minutes
—–
● Be careful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping will likely rely on movements around market opens with no particular material news. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” if you handle it according to the rule, there should be no problem. Although the 27:00 “U.S. FOMC minutes release” is coming up, I will act if I can stay awake. If I can stay awake…
Also, the short-specialized 15-minute chart scalping will have heavy upside from the upper-144s, so there may be opportunities. If it forms a setup where you can sell around the mid-144s, I will enter.
Well then, please take care of me again today!
