【5/26 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Good work everyone! Let’s do dollar/yen scalping again tonight!
First, here is today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 142.80. This morning it started around 142.40, but during the Tokyo session there were moments when it rose into the 143 handle after news that President Trump said he would delay the 50% tariff deadline on the EU until July 9.
After that, due to uncertainty in U.S. tariff negotiations, it dropped to around 142.20 shortly after 11:00 Japan time, but in the afternoon it held its losses, rising about 40 pips from the morning level, and seems likely to hand over to overseas time with a gain.
That said… U.S. tariff negotiations keep changing, don’t they…?
Now, for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping is hard to pin down since both the London and New York markets are closed. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” unless there’s notable movement, you may want to rest up rather than force trades.
Also, the 15-minute scalping focused on shorts may have limited upside due to the tariff negotiation uncertainty, but there could be opportunities. If we can see a setup to sell around the 143.00 level, we’ll enter.
With that, please take care and best regards for today as well!
