【5/15 USD/JPY Scalping Points】
Good work, everyone! Let’s do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently USD/JPY is around 145.65. This morning it started around 146.65, but in Tokyo time yen buying has been dominant, making this week’s sharp rise a “pullback.”
With the US-China trade agreement having a 90-day deadline and the upcoming US-Japan Treasury Secretary talks, the upside is heavy.
From the morning levels, about a 1 yen drop is expected as we hand over to overseas trading.
Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movements near the London market open around 16:00
● Movements after the release of US initial jobless claims, US retail sales, US producer price index, US Philadelphia Fed index, and US NY Fed manufacturing index at around 21:30
● Movements near the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

● Be cautious of US key officials’ remarks
● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight, one-minute scalping aims to accumulate profits through the movements around market opens and the 21:30 data release mentioned above. For users of the “One-Minute Scalping Club,” handling according to the theory should be fine.
Additionally, the 15-minute short-only scalping, mindful of the US-Japan Treasury Secretary talks, tends to lean toward yen buying due to anticipation, offering possible opportunities. If we wait a bit for a pullback and can sell around the 146 level, we will enter.
