Good work, everyone! Let’s do dollar/yen scalping again tonight!
First, the overview of today’s Tokyo session.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 146.90. This morning the pair started near 147.40, but during the Tokyo session the China-U.S. trade war, while it has ended, is expected to reflect in upcoming economic indicators, leading to a yen-buying bias.
From the morning level, about 50 pips lower, it seems to be handing over to the overseas session.
Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movements near the 16:00 London market open
● Movements near the 22:00 New York market open (22:30 Dow opens)

● Watch out for U.S. public figures’ remarks
● Watch out for headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping: although there are several statements from U.S. officials, there is no particular market-moving material, so the idea is to accumulate profits around each market open. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” I don’t think there will be any issues if you handle it according to theory.
Also, the 15-minute chart scalping for short-term specialists may find opportunities as the U.S.-China trade war ends, but the optimism from the start of the week is unlikely to continue, so yen-buying dominance may present chances. If you can wait for a slight pullback and be able to sell around the mid-147s, that would be a setup.
