Good work everyone! Alright, let’s do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, a recap of the Tokyo session today.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 145.15. This morning it started around 145.85, but during the Tokyo session, in anticipation of this weekend’s US-China trade negotiations, there appears to be a pullback to adjust the recent dollar strength.
There are headlines that the US is considering lowering tariffs on China from 145% to 50%, but the outlook is highly uncertain, so large players may just be adjusting positions for now.
From the morning levels, it looks like about a 70 pip drop will be handed off to the overseas session.
Now, here are the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around 16:00 when the London market opens
● Movements around 22:00 when the New York market opens (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Pay attention to US officials' remarks
● Pay attention to headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight for 1-minute chart scalping, many US official remarks are expected, but there isn’t any particularly material news for the market; the idea is to accumulate profits around each market open. For users of the “1-minute Scalping Club,” following the theory should pose no problem.
Also, the short-only 15-minute chart scalping is entering a cautious adjustment due to the weekend US-China trade negotiations, and there may be opportunities. If a selling setup develops around the 145 mid-level, I will enter.
