[Method Free公開中] Tonight's USD/JPY scalping points 2025/5/8
This is Tomizaki from the Trading Office.
【5/8 Dollar/Yen Scalp Points】
Thank you for your hard work! Alright, let's do the Dollar/Yen scalping again tonight!
First, today's Tokyo session summary.
Currently, the Dollar/Yen is around 144.45. This morning it started around 143.70, but during the Tokyo session, with the possibility of an agreement on the US-UK trade deal fueling expectations of progress in the US-China front, the dollar was bought toward the end.
There are headlines that Goldman Sachs expects the US to lower tariffs on Chinese products soon.
From the morning level, it has risen about 75 pips and seems to be handing over to the overseas session.
From a scalping perspective, I’d like this headline-driven market to end quickly... but it seems to continue for now...
Now, here are the points for tonight's Dollar/Yen scalping.
● Movements near the London market open around 16:00
● Movements after the US initial jobless claims data at 21:30
● Movements near the New York market open around 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Attention to the press conference regarding the US-UK trade agreement at 23:00
● Be aware of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalp aims to accumulate profits from the market open movements and the 21:30 US initial jobless claims data after the release. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” handling according to theory should be fine. Also, there seems to be a chance after the press conference on the US-UK trade agreement.
Additionally, for those who only scalp short-term on the 15-minute chart, given the possibility of US-UK trade agreement progress and US-China developments, there is a tendency to buy dollars, so avoid overextending. If there’s a chance, it would be after the press conference on the US-UK trade agreement.
With that, please have another great day!
