Good work everyone! Alright, let's do dollar-yen scalping again tonight!
First, today's Tokyo-time overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 144.30. This morning, USD/JPY started around 144.70, but during Tokyo time there continues to be selling pressure on the dollar due to concerns about Trump tariffs.
Around 14:30 Japan time it briefly fell to the 143s, then rebounded a bit, ending about 40 pips lower than the morning level, likely to hand off to overseas time.
Today, Tokyo and London are closed. Unless there are unexpected headlines, movement may be limited up to New York.
Now, the points for tonight's USD/JPY scalping.
● Movement near the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movement after the US ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI release at 23:00
● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping envisions profits from moves around the New York market open and after the 23:00 ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI release. For members of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” if you handle it according to theory, there should be no problem.
Also, the short-only 15-minute scalping remains under selling pressure due to concerns about Trump tariffs, so there may be opportunities. If there’s a setup around the mid-144s to sell, I will enter.
