【FX】A story about becoming able to win after getting bored with trading
Thank you for opening this. I am Sabekusu, earning through discretionary trading and automated trading of USD/JPY.
Actually, I had previously given up completely on discretionary trading, thinking, “It isn’t for me.” I thought it didn’t suit my personality. Even when I set up trading rules for discretionary trading, I couldn’t stick to them. I would impulsively take positions. I couldn’t suppress the curiosity of wondering what would happen if I did this or that.
So I retired from discretionary trading once. I devoted myself solely to automated trading, but a turning point came.
There is a program called Kuibei (Kyubei) that has been delivering pretty good results with automated trading, and I wondered, what if I turned Kuibei into an indicator as is?
From GogoJungle, which I list, I received a call saying, “Would you sell the Sabekusu indicator? Indicators are selling well right now,” and although it may be unrelated, I was greatly influenced by it.
So I created the indicator below.
Since I had made the indicator, I felt I should use it as a developer, so I retired from discretionary trading and traded every morning in a demo account using the indicator. Last month I won 116 pips, and this month I’ve already won 50 pips.
When you can win on a demo account, it’s natural to want to try it, so I restarted discretionary trading. It’s going well.
So I suddenly wondered what had changed.
Starting to use the indicator fixed the trading rules. But I had fixed them before as well.
What I realized then is that I amgetting tired of FXin other words,
becoming accustomedto it.
Because I’m accustomed to FX, I don’t trade in ways that are emotionally shaken like before. I take positions calmly as a task, and in my case I enter positions around 8:00, with automatic execution at 9:55 via an EA for automatic ordering.
I take positions at 8:00 and leave it alone.
And I’m winning. Using the Kuibei indicator has improved the analysis accuracy in the morning, but more than that, I no longer feel anxious about frequently adjusting positions or trading; I simply take positions as a task and accept the results.
Of course, when I see the results, I’m happy if I’m winning and frustrated if I’m losing. But it’s a much more familiar feeling than before.
I’m getting used to FX and starting to feel a bit of boredom. I’m starting to think it’s just a task. Is that the secret to winning? That realization inside me led me to write this article.
Senior traders, would you agree with that feeling?
In my case, enjoying FX too much seemed to be the reason I couldn’t win. It’s fine as a hobby, but as an investment to grow funds, it was a failure.
Finally, I feel like I can glimpse the shadows of the veterans ahead of me.
Also, using indicators to reduce decision-making has paid off. I’m increasingly understanding that indicators are a hot seller in today’s market.
The indicators I’m selling above areFirst month freeSo if you try it and it doesn’t suit you, you can quit right awayNo riskSo please install it if you’re interested.
If I let my guard down thinking I’m getting better, I feel I’ll lose, so I want to stay alert and continue the morning routine calmly.
Thank you very much for reading this far.
May your FX life be a good one.
