【4/29 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Thank you for your hard work! Now, let's do dollar-yen scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently, the dollar/yen is around 142.45. This morning it started around 142.00, but during the Tokyo session it is showing a slight rebound after yesterday’s overseas session falls approaching a 2-yen range.
However, due to persistent dollar weakness, the rebound is slow. At least until U.S. data, is it okay to keep eyes lower?
From the morning level, it looks like about a 45-pip rise will lead to the overseas session.
Now, for tonight’s dollar/yen scalping points.
● Movement near the 16:00 London market open
● Movement near the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movement after the 23:00 release of “U.S. Consumer Confidence Index” and “U.S. JOLTS Job Openings”
● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping involves gains from moves around each market open, plus the moves after the 23:00 releases. For users of the “1-minute Scalping Club,” I think it should be fine to handle according to the theory.
Additionally, the 15-minute scalping focused on shorts is in a market where the dollar remains weak, so opportunities seem likely. If it becomes a sell setup around the mid-142s, I will enter.
