【4/28 Dollar-Yen Scalping Points】
Thanks for your hard work! Now, let's do the dollar-yen scalping again tonight!
First, a briefing of today’s Tokyo session.
Currently, the dollar-yen is around 143.50. This morning it started at around 143.50, but during the Tokyo session it has been around the 143 handle with no clear directional bias.
News regarding the USD being weak and JPY strong being desirable has been clearly denied by Mr. Kato and Mr. Mimura in sequence; concerns about the US-China trade war have eased somewhat, but uncertainty remains, and peace negotiations with Russia and Ukraine have shown only marginal progress... Perhaps we are waiting for the next catalyst.
It seems we’ll hand over to overseas time roughly at the early-morning levels.
Now, the points for tonight’s dollar-yen scalping.
● Movements around the London market open at 16:00
● Movements around the New York market open at 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Be careful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping is expected to profit from the market moves around each market open, as there are no special catalysts. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” if you apply the theory as usual, there should be no problems.
Also, the 15-minute scalping for shorts only is moving in a range around the 143 mid-level, so if you enter, it should be above the 143 mid-level, but since the direction is unclear, don’t push it. Waiting may be prudent.
