This is Tomizaki from Trading Office.
[4/25 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points]
Good work everyone! Let’s do Dollar/Yen scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently, the Dollar/Yen is around 143.70. The pair started around 142.55 in the morning, but during Tokyo time buying dollars and selling yen accelerated, rising to around 143.80 just after 1:00 PM Japan time.
The factors include the passing of the U.S.-Japan finance ministers meeting and headlines that China is considering easing tariffs on some U.S. products. In the market, improvement in the U.S.-China relationship is easing global recession concerns somewhat.
From the morning level, about a 1 yen 15 sen rise, it looks set to pass the baton to overseas time.
Now, the points for tonight’s Dollar/Yen scalping.
● Movements near the London market open at 16:00
● Movements near the New York market open at 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the U.S. Michigan University Consumer Confidence Index is released at 23:00
● Be mindful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping envisions gaining profits from movements around each market open plus movements after the 23:00 release of the U.S. University of Michigan Consumer Confidence Index. Users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club” should be able to handle it according to theory.
Also, the 15-minute short-only scalp has the yen being bought on headlines that China is considering easing tariffs on some U.S. products, though many are not optimistic, so there is potential to sell from higher levels. If it forms a setup to sell around the 143 mid-level, I will enter.
Now, the overseas time will start shortly!
