Good job today! Alright, let's scalp USD/JPY again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently USD/JPY is around 140.20. This morning it started at around 140.90, but during the Tokyo session the dollar selling trend persisted even after Easter, and after 14:15 Japan time it fell to around 139.90.
Headline that the Bank of Japan is maintaining a rate-hike path seemed to be the reason for briefly breaking below 140.
From the morning level it’s about a 70 pip drop, and the baton may be handed to the overseas session. Were the good parts during Tokyo time eaten by others..?
Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movements near 16:00 London market open
● Movements near 22:00 New York market open (22:30 Dow open)
● Pay attention to U.S. officials’ remarks
● Pay attention to headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute interval scalping is, today, without any particular catalysts, focusing on profits around each market open. For users of the “1-minute Scalping Club,” handling according to theory should be fine.
Also, the 15-minute scalp focused on short positions continues to see a dollar-selling trend after Easter, so there appear to be opportunities. If we can wait for a slight pullback to the mid-140s level and be able to sell, we will enter.
