[Free technique公開中] Tonight's USD/JPY scalpingポイント 2025/4/21
I’m Tomizaki from the Trading Office.
[4/21 Dollar-Yen Scalping Points]
Thank you for your hard work! Let’s do some dollar-yen scalping again tonight!
First, from today's Tokyo time overview.
Currently, the dollar-yen is around 140.80. This morning it started around 141.65, but during Tokyo time, with President Trump suggesting the dismissal of Fed Chair Powell, dollar selling accelerated, and after 11:30 in Japan time it declined to today’s Asia low around 140.60.
Not only the global economy, but also the speculation about Powell’s dismissal raised caution about U.S. monetary policy.
From the morning level, it has fallen about 85 pips and is likely to hand off to overseas time.
Today is Easter Monday, so European and London traders are closed. The moves have already been sizable during Tokyo time, and the appealing moves may have ended, but let’s hope for movement again in New York time.
Now, here are tonight’s dollar-yen scalping points.
● Movements near the 22:00 New York market open (and 22:30 Dow open)
● Movements after the 23:00 release of the U.S. Leading Economic Index
● Watch for statements from U.S. officials
● Watch headlines related to the Trump administration
For tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping, since European and London participants are on holiday for Easter Monday, we’ll target moves around the New York market open and after the 23:00 U.S. Leading Economic Index release. Users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club” should be fine handling it according to theory.
Also, the 15-minute scalping that is short-selling focused is likely to tilt toward dollar selling and yen buying as risk-off is triggered by concerns about global economy and U.S. monetary policy, providing opportunities. If it develops to the 141 level, we will enter.
And now, please take care tonight as well!
