Thank you for your hard work! Alright, let’s do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, here is today's Tokyo time overview.
Currently USD/JPY is around 142.35. This morning it started around 142.40, but in the Tokyo session it has been moving only slightly in the lower-140s.
Today is Good Friday, and most financial markets outside Japan are closed, so it’s a completely waiting mood.
It will likely pass the baton to the overseas session at roughly the same levels as in the morning.
If the market moves, it would be due to uncertainties regarding US tariffs on China and the semiconductor tariffs planned for this week, with President Trump’s remarks possibly triggering moves.
Today, if headlines move, it might be about holding positions in that case.
