【4/16 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Good job everyone! Let's go with dollar/yen scalping again tonight!
First, from today's Tokyo session overview. Currently, the dollar/yen is around 142.60. This morning, it started around 143.15, but in the Tokyo session there is a possibility that the US will introduce new tariffs, leading to a yen-strengthening trend.
Recently, it hasn’t been safe-haven dollar buying; rather, due to concerns about US economic slowdown, the dollar has tended to be sold. Hmm, we might see the 141 level.
From the morning level, about 55 pips lower, it seems the baton will pass to the overseas session.
Now, the points for tonight's USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements near the 16:00 London market open
● Movements after the 21:30 US Retail Sales release
● Movements near the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Pay attention to US officials' remarks
● Pay attention to headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight's 1-minute chart scalping involves stacking profits from market openings and after the 21:30 US Retail Sales report. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” handling in accordance with the theory should be fine. Powell speaks at 26:30, as usual, if you can be awake for it.
Also, the short-only 15-minute chart scalping offers opportunities due to US economic slowdown fears and yen buying on risk-off, so if a setup appears around the 142 mid-level, we will enter.
