【4/15 Dollar/Yen Scalp Points】
Good work everyone! Let’s do dollar/yen scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently, dollar/yen is around 143.15 yen. This morning, it started near 142.95 yen, but in the early Tokyo session it briefly strengthened to around 143.60 yen, yet it remains pressured by Trump tariffs, being pushed back to the low-143s.
Last Friday and yesterday avoided slipping below 142, but can it hold today... if it breaks out, it would be tasty for shorts, wouldn’t it?
From the morning level, about 20 pips higher, it seems to hand over to overseas time.
Now, here are tonight’s dollar/yen scalping points.
● Movements around 16:00 London market open
● Movements after the 21:30 U.S. NY Federal Reserve Manufacturing Index release
● Movements around the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Be cautious of statements from U.S. officials
● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
For tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping, the idea is to accumulate profits from moves around each market open plus the move after the 21:30 U.S. NY Fed Manufacturing Index release. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” as theory dictates, there should be no problem handling it.
Also, the 15-minute chart scalping dedicated to shorts remains favorable since Trump tariffs still keep upside limited; if there’s a setup, we’d chase to the low-142s.
With that, thank you again for today!
