Thanks for your hard work! Let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently USD/JPY is around 142.80. This morning USD/JPY started around 144.45, but during Tokyo time risk-off movement continued due to U.S. tariffs, leading to a decline.
Earlier, China announced 125% retaliatory tariffs on the U.S... the U.S.-China tariff chicken race doesn’t seem to end...
From the early level, about a 1.65 yen drop, it seems to be handing over to overseas time.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around the London market open near 16:00
● Movements after the U.S. PPI release at 21:30
● Movements around the New York market open near 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the U.S. University of Michigan Consumer Confidence index at 23:00
● Be cautious of U.S. senior officials’ remarks
● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping adds profit from market open movements, plus moves after the 21:30 “U.S. PPI” and 23:00 “U.S. University of Michigan Consumer Confidence Index” releases. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” if you handle them according to theory, there should be no problem.
Also, the short-only 15-minute scalping may have opportunities as risk-off moves continue due to the unresolved U.S.-China tariff chicken race. The idea is to wait for a small rebound and enter around the mid-143 yen level.
