[Method Free Release] Tonight's USD/JPY Scalp Points 2025/4/2
This is Tomizaki from Trading Office.
【4/2 USD/JPY Scalping Points】
Thank you for your hard work! Now let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, here is today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 149.75. This morning it started around 149.80, but during Tokyo time it moved in the high 149 yen range without a clear direction.
It is trading cautiously while awaiting details of the U.S. tariffs announced on April 3, Japan time, 5:00 a.m.
It is likely to hand over to overseas time at roughly the same morning level.
Now, here are the points for tonight's USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements near the 16:00 London market open
● Movements after the 21:15 U.S. ADP employment statistics release
● Movements near the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the 29:00 remarks by U.S. President Trump
● Pay attention to remarks from U.S. dignitaries
● Pay attention to headlines related to the Trump administration
● Pay attention to headlines related to the Bank of Japan's additional rate hikes
Tonight's 1-minute scalping, in addition to movements around each market open, will likely create opportunities after the 21:15 ADP release. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” applying the theory should be fine. The 29:00 remarks by U.S. President Trump will disclose details of the tariff, but only if you can stay awake.
Additionally, the 15-minute chart scalping, which focuses on shorts, may turn back to yen appreciation as we approach the U.S. tariff details announcement, offering another chance. If you can enter around around the mid-149 yen level, that would be the setup.
Now the overseas session is about to start!
