After graduating from Sophia University, Faculty of Economics (major in Statistics), he worked in the securities investment division of a domestic insurance company,
and then became Chief Strategist and Head of Equity Investments at UAM Japan, Inc.
Thereafter, he served as Chief Strategist and Head of Investments at Proud Investment Advisors, QUICK, and MCP Group, Asia's largest fund-of-funds.
Leveraging 28 years of fund-managing experience, in 2014 he became President of Spring Capital.
Currently, he is a host on Radio Nikkei 'AsaZai' and on Nikkei CNBC TV 'Night Express'.

From 2002, for six years he worked as a dealer at a securities firm, trading stocks and futures. In 2008 he joined Kanpo Life Insurance Co., Ltd., where he served as fund manager for corporate bonds, municipal bonds, and municipal investment bonds; after that, he was involved in investment operations as a stock strategist and stock fund manager. Subsequently, to nurture individual investors, he runs Kokoro Trade Institute to help intermediate personal traders fill skill gaps. He has experience across all trading horizons, from short-term as a dealer to mid-to-long-term as an institutional investor, and his strength lies in covering the behind-the-scenes of trading.
