The range isn’t very large, but since several items are concentrated in the same time frame, caution is needed.
Trading is based on that context.
Although it rose sharply late on the 25th, it ultimately retraced.
It then slid into a range market as we approach Tokyo time on the 26th.
As the chart shows, even in the NY market it is moving within a large boxed range without a clear direction.
Volatility is still high, with 30-second bars moving more than 20 pips.
It looks like a counter-trend entry within the box range, with zigzag entries done skillfully.
We were able to capture a substantial number of pips, resulting in a large overall profit for the week.
