【Points for USD/JPY scalping on 3/25】
Good work everyone! Alright, let’s do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, the overview of the Tokyo session for today.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 150.45. This morning it started around 150.65, but in the early Tokyo session it followed the momentum from last night’s New York session, showing a yen weakness trend. By just after 9:00 Japan time, it rose to around 150.95.
The原因（reason） is that caution over the US tariff actions to be enacted on the 2nd next week has faded.
However, looking at interest rate differentials, there is a risk of overextension, and after the buying pressure subsides, it is expected to retreat about 20 pips from the morning level as it crosses into overseas time.
Now, here are the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around the 16:00 London market open
● Movements around the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the 23:00 releases of the US Consumer Confidence Index and US New Home Sales
● Be careful of statements from US officials
● Be careful of headlines related to the Trump administration
● Be careful of headlines related to BOJ additional rate hikes
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping, in addition to movements near market opens, is likely to create opportunities after the 23:00 releases of the US Consumer Confidence Index and US New Home Sales. For users of the "1-Minute Scalping Club," handling according to the theory should be fine.
Also, the short-only 15-minute scalping is unlikely to extend its upside due to the month-end, end-of-quarter timing, but there should be opportunities. If a setup forms near the mid-150s, around 150.50, we will enter. However, overall trend, as yesterday, avoid chasing, and take small profits steadily.
