| **Career of a Fund Manager / Over 15 years of FX experience** |
Big Q
Former overseas fund manager. While employed as a fund manager, due to the nature of the job, he could not trade stocks, so he began FX trading as a hobby. He has 15+ years of FX experience and currently trades stably, but in the early days of investing he suffered significant losses and invested a notable amount in FX education materials. Based on his experience in the financial district, he is particularly knowledgeable about cutting-edge trading trends.

Hello, I’m BIG Q.
Until recently,I was a private equity manager. I’ve been trading FX since my days in Japan; back then I was just an ordinary employee, but later I entered the financial industry, learned investment more deeply, and now I’m sharing that know-how with you all. |
Thank you. BIG Q has recently been inthe major financial districts (for privacy, the exact location will not be disclosed) and is familiar with overseas trading information. |

【This is real.】This is what a losing trader looks like… |
You've been trading since your days in Japan. After entering the financial industry, you pursued it more seriously, and though it may have seemed smooth at first, BIG Q also has experiences of hardship in investing experiences of hardship in investing, right? |

That’s right, I’ve made every kind of mistake (laughs). When I was a salaried employee, I started stock trading; at that time I used paid newsletters and systems, but I suffered large losses. |
But I ended up taking a big loss. What happened next? |
| Hayakawa |
After that, I started FX to recover the losses, but, as is common, I got caught in scam-like products and seminars.
I also tried EAs, using Martingale methods and trap repeats; at first they looked promising, but eventually they blew up my account. | |
| It seems your time as a salaried worker in Japan didn’t go well at all. It’s the typical failure story, but you really have experienced every kind of failure, which makes it feel very real…. |

What are the Three Principles common to professional traders? |
BIG Q’s failure stories may be a path many people go through. From there, how did your performance improve? |

| When I moved abroad, I wasn’t actively trading FX. It was becausea new environmentrequired me to spend time learning. |
| For a while, I focused on work. |
Yes. For example, if you go downstairs from the office in the evening, you can drink beer cheaply during happy hour. Because it’s a financial district, places likethere are many hedge fund traders and fund managersthere are many hedge fund traders and fund managerscome here.
With that environment, I naturally started meeting them, and opportunities to hear their stories gradually increased. |
That’s amazing. It must be a fantastic environment for traders. What kinds of conversations did you have? |
| Hayakawa |
They don’t discuss specific techniques or current positions.
But, listening to them, I realized they sharethree common mindsetsthree common mindsets. I call them, and I now believe that. |
I see. Very interesting. This is certainly something I’m curious about, but about thoseThree Principles, I’d like to delve into them in future interviews! |
