[Free method公開中] Key points for tonight's USD/JPY scalping 2025/3/20
This is Tomizaki from Trading Office.
【3/20 USD/JPY Scalp Points】
Good work everyone! Now let's go for a USD/JPY scalp tonight as well!
First, from today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently USD/JPY is around 148.40. This morning it started around 148.70, but during the Tokyo session it has continued the downside pressure from yesterday’s US FOMC, making it difficult for prices to move higher.
From the mid-148 level, potential selling pressure on the rebound and the 147 level as a floor may keep the range for a while.
From the opening levels this morning, about 30 pips down, it seems to be transitioning to the overseas session.
Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalp points.
● Movements around 16:00 when the London market opens
● Movements after the release of US initial jobless claims and the Philly Fed index at 21:30
● Movements around the New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the release of US Leading Economic Index and US Existing Home Sales at 23:00
● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
● Be cautious of headlines related to the BOJ’s additional rate hikes
Tonight’s 1-minute scalp trades will have opportunities around market opens plus the moves after 21:30 US jobless claims and Philly Fed index, and after 23:00 US Leading Index and Existing Home Sales. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” applying the theory as usual should be fine.
Also, the 15-minute chart scalp for shorts only has become heavy on the upside after last night’s FOMC downturn, so there may be opportunities there as well. If you can form a setup around the 148-mid level, plan to enter.
Now, the overseas session is about to begin!
