We will maintain a short position on EUR/JPY. Fair value is 128.80 yen (as of the end of October 2018). The long-term trend is 128.45 yen.
We will maintain a long position on EUR/USD. Fair value is 1.1352 dollars (as of the end of October 2018). The long-term trend is 1.1620 dollars.

Following the weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs data, the dollar has fallen somewhat while EUR/USD has risen to the 1.14 range. According to Mr. Emori, market attention has already shifted to the number of rate hikes in 2019. (Editorial staff)
