“Featured in Toyo Keizai Online” Our first victory in the fourth year feels strangely surreal...
Good morning, this is Matsushita.
This March we released a new online program,
Mercury Investment School Online
A student in the Stock Investment Skill Development Course reports
profits, so we would like to share it with you.
Teacher Matsushita
Good morning.
I’m currently feeling a strange sensation I’ve never experienced before.
Having taken the Online School Stock Investment Skill Development Course,
I paused investing for a while, created my own rules from back-testing,
and selected the strongest-upward-moving stock among those I had been watching,
bought just one share in cash, and am holding it.
Previously, if there was a pullback, I would be scared and hedge with a short sale,
but by following the rules, I stopped short selling,
and until the price fell below the recent low, I restrained myself from selling the physical shares
and watched the chart; when I wanted to sell, it suddenly reversed and profits began to accumulate rapidly.
If the stock price rises, while profits are still there,
I feel like taking profits, but because it doesn’t violate the profit-taking
rules, I also restrain myself from taking profits and accumulate gains. Just by
not taking any action and resisting my emotions, profits
mount.
Because it’s only one share, even a price move of 300 yen isn’t much in terms of gain, but
it feels very strange.
This year I’m finally turning a profit for the first time in four years. A little confidence has grown, and I feel I can continue investing in the future.
If I continue with just one share a little longer and after a year or two gain confidence,
I’m thinking of increasing the number of shares to the point where I can continue investing even after stop-losses.
Thank you for your guidance and encouragement always by email.
Y.H.
Thank you, Y.H.
And congratulations on your first win in year four.
The other day,FX Online Schoolgraduates,
Fumio Yoshitake’s first win in year eight is almost certain
and we received notice to share it with you,
and graduates of online schools and
students currently participating are starting to profit, which is very pleasing.
Last September, I myself started educating through online,
a consistently structured investment school,
and even through online teaching, there are many cases where students
are able to make profits,
and I’m deepening my conviction that students can profit.
In Y.H’s report this time,
there are vivid, real experiences from investors who have patiently and thoroughly
practiced investing,
and they are described in detail.
In the part that says,
“I stopped short selling and watched the chart, and until it dropped below the recent low,
I restrained myself from selling and waited,”
it shows that profits accumulate as the price reverses from the point where one would want to sell.
Because the profits that had not been earned through emotional trading can be earned by sticking to the rules,
the moment you become pessimistic about selling, the price turns bullish and rises,
and the rule-based trades beat emotions,
and profits rise,
which Y.H calls a “mysterious sensation.”
Also,
“If you do nothing and quietly resist your emotions and endure,
profits accumulate and
rise.”
In that sense,
even though you are merely resisting,
profits keep increasing, and you feel both happy and perplexed.
This is a mysterious sensation of investing that only those who have experienced it can understand, and the reason profits rise with rule-based trading is
that it works.
To repeat,
this is a mysterious sensation that only those who have experienced it can understand, and it is what it means to
“know how to win.”
Through this experience, Y.H seems to
feel that “confidence has grown and I can continue investing.”
This is because he has moved beyond three years of losses and, over a year, achieved profits with a solid reason (rules).
When will you taste this mysterious sensation?
Is it truly possible to keep doing your own improvised trading as you are now?
If you have that confidence,
even if it is inefficient,
with time, be prepared to practice and continue as you are now.
If not,
join the online school soon and learn theories, knowledge, and rules that increase your odds,
and acquire them.
you should realize that this is a rare phenomenon that cannot be encountered through normal emotional or sensory-driven trading.
Y.H, who secured his first win in year four as a stock investor, and
Fumio Yoshitake, who secured his first win in year eight as an FX trader,
could be you next.
