Good work today! Let's go with USD/JPY scalping again this evening!
First, the overview for Tokyo time today.
Currently USD/JPY is around 147.70. This morning it started around 147.90, but in the early Tokyo session selling the dollar and buying the yen dominated, and after 10 o'clock it fell to today’s Asian low around 147.10.
The cause seems to be concerns of global economic slowdown due to the tariff war started by U.S. President Trump.
However, buying near 147 still held, and from the morning level it declined by about 20 pips, seemingly handing over to the overseas session.
Today there are no particular market-moving factors, so we might see the 147 yen area fluctuating.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around 16:00 London market open
● Movements around 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Watch for headlines related to Trump administration
● Watch for headlines related to BoJ rate hikes
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping, with no particular catalysts in the market, is expected to accumulate profits around the opening of each market. Users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club” should be able to handle it per theory.
Also, the 15-minute scalping, which specializes in shorts, may present opportunities if the yen strengthens further this week. If it forms around the mid-147s, expect to initiate positions.
