The theme this time is the investor journey of Mr. Candlestick and how he reached success.
First, please tell us about the financial instrument you started trading. Did you begin with stocks, FX, or something else? |

| | At first“Rich Dad Poor Dad”I read that famous book and started investing in stocks. |

| Interesting. What motivated you to move into FX from there? |

| Back then, capital for investment was small,and even if you made profits in stocks, the amounts were small.
In fact, I did win, butthere was a sense of insufficiency. |

| | At that time, FX started drawing attention, and after researching, I learned that it offered 24-hour trading and, with leverage, you could make large trades from a small amount. That’s when I decided to shift to FX. |

| By the way, when did you start stocks and FX? |

| | I started stock investing around 2005, and shifted to FX about a year or two before the Lehman shock. |

| So you were influenced quite a bit early on, right? |

|

| | Yes. The logic I had been using stopped working, and I lost a lot of capital. My previous methods stopped functioning entirely, which caused a lot of struggle. |

There were many people who exited due to the Lehman shock...
Did you continue FX after that? |

|
| I continued.
From there,I spent days trying to figure out how to win.
I tried every method—logics, tools, EAs—andit took about five years of not working. |

Why did you drag the bottom for five years? |
Five years... that was a very tough journey.
Ultimately, how did you analyze the reasons you were not winning? |

| | I realized that the market is always changing. Until then I believed “logics that worked in the past will work in the future,” but that wasn’t the case. |

| I see. In other words, you needed a more real-time market-oriented logic rather than one based on past analysis? |

| Since the market changes daily, relying only on past data is not enough.
Reading what the current market participants are thinking and how they intend to move is crucial. |

| That was the trigger to delve deeply into Candlestick analysis. |

| Yes. When I started writing price movements as candlesticks myself, I began to see the psychology of market participants.
Continuing that analysis led me to the current trading method. |
