[Techniques Free Access] Tonight's USD/JPY scalping points 2025/3/5
This is Tomizaki from Trading Office.
【3/5 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Thanks for your hard work! Now let's do Dollar/Yen scalping again tonight!
First, today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 149.75. This morning it started around 149.75, but during Tokyo time it ranged about 150.20-149.60, a range of about 60 pips.
It moved quite a bit, but there is no clear direction, making the action somewhat challenging.
It seems likely to hand over to overseas hours at roughly the same level as this morning.
From yesterday's low around 148.10, there was a sharp rise due to expectations of an agreement on mineral supplies between the U.S. and Ukraine, and the possibility of tariff reductions for Canada and Mexico, but the upside from here looks heavy.
Now, here are tonight's USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movements around the London market open near 17:00
● Movements after the release of the U.S. ADP employment report at 22:15
● Movements around the New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Movements after the U.S. ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI release at 24:00
● Be mindful of headlines related to the Trump administration
● Be mindful of headlines related to additional BoJ rate hikes
Tonight's one-minute chart scalping will have chances not only from market opens but also after the 22:15 ADP employment report and the 24:00 ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI release. For users of the “1-minute Scalping Club,” handling according to the theory should be fine.
Also, the short-only 15-minute scalping approach could see a quick rise from the 148.10 level, but the upside around 150 may be heavy, offering chances for selling on rallies. The idea is to target sells around the mid-149s.
With that, overseas trading is about to start!
