【3/4 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Good work today! Alright, let’s do dollar/yen scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently, the dollar/yen is around 149.45. This morning, it started around 149.55, but in the early Tokyo session the yen strengthened due to President Trump’s statements about the yen’s weakness, causing a yen strength trend.
After falling to around 148.60 after 10:30, it reversed and rebounded.
Driven by the shorts who oversold, it recovered to the mid-149s, and seems set to hand over to the overseas session near the morning level. Who hit 148.60 exactly?
Now, here are the points for tonight’s dollar/yen scalping.
● Movements near 17:00 when the London market opens
● Movements near 23:00 when the New York market opens (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Be cautious of US official statements
● Be cautious of headlines related to Trump tariffs
● Be cautious of headlines related to BOJ additional rate hikes
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping lacks specific market catalysts, so the idea is to profit from the movements around each market open. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” I think handling it as a standard strategy should be fine.
Also, for the 15-minute scalp that is shorts-only, the situation tends to strengthen the yen due to President Trump’s yen-weakening statements, so there are opportunities. If it breaks around 148.50, it would be interesting for shorts… though someone was at 148.60, so a bit of caution is needed.
