[Free technique released] Points for tonight's USD/JPY scalping 2025/2/12

[2/12 Dollar-Yen Scalping Points]
Good work, everyone! Let’s go with dollar-yen scalping tonight as well!
First, the overview in Tokyo time for today.
Currently, dollar-yen is around 153.55 yen. This morning the pair started around 152.45 yen, but during Tokyo time, there has been rapid dollar buying and yen selling driven by last night’s remarks from US Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell that rate cuts would not be rushed and by views that Trump’s 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum would not exclude Japanese companies from the measures.
From the morning level, it looks like it will rise about 1 yen 10 sen as we transition to overseas hours.
Today’s Asia low is around 152.35 sen and Asia high around 153.90 sen.
Now, here are the points for dollar-yen scalping tonight.
● Movement around the London market open (near 17:00)
● Movement after the US CPI release (around 22:30)
● Movement around the New York market open (23:00; Dow opens at 23:30)
● Watch for remarks from US officials
● Watch for developments in the Trump administration
● Be cautious of headlines related to BoJ rate hikes
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping should create opportunities not only from market opens but also from the post-22:30 US CPI release movement. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” if you follow the theory, there should be no problem. Also, keep an eye on Chair Powell’s remarks.
Also, the 15-minute chart scalp, which is a short-side specialty, is unlikely to have much chance today since the yen is broadly weakening amid expectations of fewer rate cuts. It may be wise to refrain today.
