What can a calligrapher do in the world of investment? ~ About the regularities of calligraphy and the regularities of candlestick charts ~
What can a calligrapher do in the world of investment?
Apply calligraphy to trading? What is this guy talking about?
Some of you might be thinking that,
and I think that’s not impossible either (;^_^A
But in fact, by applying what I learned from calligraphy,
I have been able to win in trading!
I don’t know if my method is right or wrong,
but in the world of trading,
if you win, that’s the correct way!
The idea of applying elements of calligraphy to trading
is extremely abstract, and difficult to explain to people.
However,
in this article, I will try to explain it as clearly as possible.
There are many elements I’m applying from calligraphy, but
this time I will explain about the rules of calligraphy and the rules of candlesticks, which are also used in the “Drawing the Dragon and Completing the Eye” (literally) technique.
I will explain.
What are the rules of calligraphy and the rules of candlesticks?
As you can see, the first character is the largest,
and it gradually becomes smaller from the second to the fourth character,
and the fifth character becomes large again.
Basically, in a set of three or four characters,
the pattern large→small repeats within one sheet of paper.
This writing pattern is fixed as a template, and
for large works, the master teaches, “Write it like this.”
By writing according to this pattern,
while keeping the overall balance of the piece,
you can create a dynamic piece with variation.
In short, this is the
ironclad technique
How often do you get a chance to see a calligraphy work?
In a luxurious Japanese house, a hanging scroll might be in the tea room,
or in the president’s or principal’s room, perhaps?
When you see that hanging scroll
you might just think, “Amazing,” but if you analyze it closely,
actually, within a single scroll, there are such rules hidden!
Thinking of that,
charts are similar, aren’t they?
If you just look at them, you only see lines going up and down.
By drawing lines and adding indicators to analyze,
you can see many things from there.
Traders enjoy analyzing the charts while looking at the chart screen, but
in my case, just like looking at a chart,
it’s enjoyable to analyze a calligraphy piece as well♪(*^▽^*)
What is the rule in candlesticks?
So, how is this calligraphy rule related to the candlestick rule?
I will explain that.
In calligraphy, we said that large→small repeats every three characters.
Actually,
the same kind of thing exists as a rule in candlesticks!
The keyword is「3」.
And in candlesticks,
not size, but
“yin and yang”.
These two keywords relate to a rule that is repeatedly found in candlesticks!
And incorporating this rule as a logic is
[Drawing the Dragon and Completing the Eye]!
For me,
I could reveal this logic here, but
it is limited to purchasers of the indicator,
so I cannot say it here!
If I were to say it here,
it would be disrespectful to those who purchased it (;´・ω・)
For those who have purchased it and know the logic,
by reading this article, you will finally
see the elements of calligraphyandthe logic of Drawing the Dragon and Completing the Eyeconnected.
connected.♪
By the way,
having noticed the candlestick rules and established the method a long time ago,
there were people who did this long ago!
Yes,
Soken Honmais a great master!
Honma’s Sakata gohou (five methods of Sakata) also uses candlestick rules,
and the Drawing the Dragon and Completing the Eye logic was inspired by the Sakata gohou,
so the Drawing the Dragon and Completing the Eye logic is quite similar to Sakata gohou.
Therefore, if you don’t want to buy indicators but want to know the logic,
studying Sakata gohou might give you hints for the Drawing the Dragon and Completing the Eye logic!
Sakata gohou has many patterns, so studying it might be tough (;^_^A
In reality, studying Sakata gohou deepens understanding of markets, which is good, but
instead of studying the patterns themselves,
I recommend studying the market psychology behind those patterns!!
Candlestick patterns are
derived from the psychology of market participants.
And
artworks such as calligraphy are also created from human emotions = psychology!
fundamentally, both calligraphy and charts are made from human emotions
Regarding the rules of calligraphy,
now we can use characters and numbers to explain it theoretically,
but in ancient times, writers wrote emotionally, and
this style of writing likely resulted from those emotions,
so the writer probably wasn’t thinking about “which character to enlarge.”
I don’t think so.
In other words, by analyzing and researching works born from emotional expression,
theoryallyestablished as a methodthrough that process,
this knowledge has been passed down from master to apprentice
and has reached me.
And the charts are the same.
They are formed by the changing emotions of market participants causing buying and selling,
and candlestick patterns and chart waves are shaped by those emotions.
The charts, and the methods established from analyzing them,
are Sakata gohou and Drawing the Dragon and Completing the Eye.
There are many methods out there,
but every winning method hides market psychology behind it.
Most people use them without knowing the market psychology behind them (;^_^A
In other words, both calligraphy techniques and trading techniques are driven by human psychology.
Since both originated from human psychology
it is only natural that they have in common.
By the way, this time I focused only on the size of characters, but there are still many calligraphy techniques and skills!
There is no way I can cover all of them in this article! Haha
And almost all of those techniques can be applied to trading!
Understanding them willmake the advantage in trading apparent just by looking at the chart.
There is a lot I want to convey about knowledge and mindset to trade advantageously!
Even if you understand it in your head,
expressing it in words so others can understand is very difficult (;^_^A
Even so, I will keep pushing to share information, so please bear with me ♪
If you have any questions like “I don’t quite understand this part,” feel free to ask!
I will do my best to answer you!
That’s all for now.
I would be glad if you could understand even a little about the commonalities between calligraphy and trading (#^.^#)
