[1/27 Dollar-Yen Scalping Points]
Good work everyone! Alright, let’s do some dollar-yen scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo session overview. Currently, the USD/JPY is around 156.05. This morning it started around 155.65, and in the early Tokyo session there were moments of selling down to around 155.30. However, after that, combined with traders who sold on the dip getting shaken out, there was almost no pullback, and by just after 3 PM it rose to around 156.25.
It appears to be driven by the reversal of tariffs on Colombia by the U.S. government.
From the morning levels, about 40 pips higher, the market will likely hand over to the overseas session.
After this, the market is likely to move for a while on headlines related to the Trump administration.
Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movements near the London market open around 17:00
● Movements near the New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Movements after the release of the U.S. existing home sales at 24:00
● Pay attention to developments in the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping plan isn’t highly news-driven, but after the 24:00 release of U.S. existing home sales, opportunities may arise. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” you should be able to handle it as per theory.
Also, the short-only 15-minute scalping targets roughly 157-155 range, so there should be opportunities there as well. If you can get a sell setup around around 156, you can enter.
