“The Idea of Data Mining” (1/24) Investment AI Development Struggle Journal
What is Data Mining
I learned the concept of data mining from the machine learning book "Practical Data Mining."
When you hear "mining," you often think of Bitcoin mining, but it means "extraction" or "unearthing."
Collecting data to monetize it—this is the idea of data mining, right?
Data Mining in FX
FX is a relatively new way to earn money, and many companies disclose historical data, with past data continually increasing day by day.
As a result, data in FX far exceeds what humans can understand,
and the norm is to verify the edge of the logic through programming.
I believe indicators and signal tools should provide evidence of the logic's edge.
Compared to that field, the EA world is much more sound.
Oops, did I go off topic?
The Data Mining Era Is a Red Ocean
Regarding crypto, there is less data compared to FX.
Until we enter this data mining era, one can think it is relatively blue ocean.
FX has completely become a red ocean, and as the name implies, it is bloodshed.
