Thank you for your hard work! Now, let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, a summary of today’s Tokyo session.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 156.20. This morning it started around 156.20, but in the early Tokyo session it strengthened to around 156.60, then it was sold off to around 155.70.
Tonight at 26:00, President Trump's inaugural address is expected, and after the speech nearly 100 executive orders may be signed, which seems to have caused some dollar selling for position adjustments.
However, as the afternoon progressed, the morning decline looked like a “throwback” move, and it seems to be handing over to overseas hours at around the morning levels.
Also, after the inauguration there may be sudden moves, so it might be prudent to watch without getting involved.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements near the London market open around 17:00
● Be careful of moves after President Trump’s inaugural speech
Tonight's 1-minute scalp, due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day when the U.S. is closed, envisions accumulating profits from movements near the London market open. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” if you handle it according to the theory, there should be no problem. After the 26:00 “Trump inaugural speech,” I will take positions if opportunities arise, but I will trade in small, meticulous steps without forcing it. Profit-taking is the key to success.
Additionally, for the short-only 15-minute chart, if a position-adjusting sell-off occurs again before Trump's inaugural speech, there may be a chance here too. If it can be sold above the 155 mid-level, I would like to enter.
Then, the overseas session is about to begin!
