[Free technique available] Tonight's USD/JPY scalping points 2024/12/27
This is Tomizaki from Trading Office.
【12/27 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Thanks for your hard work! Alright, let's do dollar/yen scalping again tonight!
First, the today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 157.65. This morning it started around 157.85, but during the Tokyo session, following yesterday’s move to the 158 range, there seems to be profit-taking selling of dollars and buying of yen.
It has retraced to the mid-157s. From the morning level, about 20 pips lower, it looks like we will hand over to the overseas session.
After this, the overseas participants will come in, but whether another dip-buying will occur is something to watch. We are still in the alert zone for BOJ currency intervention.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around the London market open around 17:00
● Movements around the New York market open around 23:00 (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Pay attention to headlines related to BOJ currency intervention
For tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping, since there aren’t particularly market-moving headlines, the idea is to stack gains from movements around each market open. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” following the theory should be fine.
Also, for pure short-term scalping on the 15-minute chart, when the market is quiet, there may be opportunity if there is selling due to year-end and month-end position adjustments. Basically, we’ll stay in an approach of dollar strength and yen weakness without forcing it.
Now, the overseas session is about to start!
