The main goal of the hard fork was to \"increase the block size\" (※), and BCH’s block size expanded dramatically from Bitcoin’s 1 MB to 8 MB.
Later updates further increased the block size to 32 MB in May 2018.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) successfully split into two currencies
Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV each performed a hard fork to change the BCH protocol’s rule set.
The first movement observed was from Bitcoin ABC.

Around 3:00 AM Japan time on the 16th, when BCH blocks reached the hard fork block “556767,” Bitcoin.com mined the first new block implemented by Bitcoin ABC.
Bitcoin SV, due to some trouble, did not confirm the generation (mining) of a new block for several minutes, but around 3:20 AM Japan time, SV’s block generation was confirmed.
With block generation confirmed for both Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV, BCH’s hard fork was successfully completed.
Before the fork, Bitcoin SV had the higher hashrate, but as Roger Ver’s Bitcoin.com adjusted the hashrate significantly in line with the chain split that began the hash war, BCH (Bitcoin ABC) gained the upper hand.
On the blockchain, the currency with the longer chain is regarded as a “trustworthy coin.
Therefore, for BCHABC or BCHSV to be officially recognized as the currency, as many blocks (hashes) as possible must be generated.
Jake Smith, an advisor to Bitcoin.com, prefaced that it depends on how long miners continue this hash war, and then stated the following about the current situation.
It is unclear whether Wright can break this situation in the future, but if Bitcoin.com can maintain the current hash power, there will be little chance for Craig’s side to win.
Is there a chance for BitcoinSV to win?
