[Free Method Released] Points for Tonight's USD/JPY Scalping 2024/12/26
This is Tomosaki from Trading Office.
【12/26 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Good work everyone! Now let's do Dollar/Yen scalping tonight as well!
First, today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently the Dollar/Yen is around 157.35. This morning it started around 157.20, but during Tokyo time market participants were limited due to Christmas holidays, and the pair tended to move slightly in a yen-weak direction.
The reasons include the uncertainty about the timing of a Bank of Japan rate hike and expectations of a slower pace of U.S. rate cuts.
It is expected to rise about 15 pips from the morning level as we pass the baton to international markets.
The alert zone for BOJ currency intervention remains.
Now, here are tonight's Dollar/Yen scalping points.
● 22:30 Action after the release of the U.S. initial jobless claims
● Around the New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Be cautious of headlines related to BOJ intervention
For tonight's 1-minute chart scalping, since the London market is closed, the idea is to accumulate profits from the 22:30 U.S. initial jobless claims and near the New York open. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” there should be no problem handling it as per the theory.
Also, the 15-minute scalping focusing on shorts may present opportunities if sudden selling occurs amid a quiet market. Basically, the trend is dollar strength and yen weakness, so do not push beyond your limits.
Now then, thank you for your continued support!
