Investment AI Development Struggle Journal "Nice to meet you"
Hello! I was tweeting about progress in development on Twitter (formerly X), but due to character limits, I have migrated to Investment Navigator+. Please continue to support me!
Introduction
To everyone at Investment Navigator, nice to meet you. I am based in Sapporo CityFirstPips LLCand I serve as its representative. This company operates programming classrooms and develops EA (automatic trading programs).
Let me share a little about my background.
In 2018, I left my corporate job to start anew as a full-time trader. In 2019, I became interested in automated FX trading and found it attractive as a side business, so I began learning the programming language “MQL.”
The EA I developed at that time, “PEACE,” began selling through another company’s IT department. Since then, it has been used by over 600 people on GoGoJoon and over 200 individuals in personal sales, becoming one of my flagship works.
Opening a Programming Classroom
In 2020, I started an online programming class to teach MQL. At the same time, I offered an EA creation outsourcing service to establish another source of income besides trading, aiming for financial stability. In 2022, I establishedFirstPips LLCand resolved to “survive in the world of investment.”
Encounter with Investment AI
In 2023, as generative AI gained attention, AI utilization surged in the field of investment. Then in 2024, I released an AI-enabled EA “Wonderful AI” using OpenAI’s API. The strong response led me to decide to pursue machine learning and AI development myself, purchasing teaching materials and exchanging information, as I experimented and learned.
As a result of overcoming numerous challenges, I have now experimentally released a next-generation EA with practical predictive accuracy, “Wonderful M.”

This blog is intended for individuals who are developing investment AI on their own or who are about to take on the challenge, and I will share my trial-and-error experiences and learnings. I hope to provide information that can be of some help.
