【12/24 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Good work everyone! Let's do dollar/yen scalping again tonight!
First, today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 157.05. This morning the pair started around 157.10, and during the Tokyo session there were moments when it rose to around 157.40 in the morning, but as the afternoon came, the upside lost momentum.
Today is Christmas Eve, and it seems the market is thinning out gradually. It looks like we'll hand over to the overseas session at roughly the same level as the morning.
Today's Asia high is around 157.40, low around 156.90. It is within the alert range for Bank of Japan intervention, but... surely not today, right...
Now, the points for tonight's dollar/yen scalping.
● Movements around the London market open at 17:00
● Movements around the New York market open at 23:00 (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Be attentive to headlines related to BoJ currency intervention
For tonight's 1-minute chart scalping, since there are no particular market catalysts, the idea is to accumulate profits from movements near each market open. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” handling them according to the theory should be fine.
Also, for the short-only 15-minute chart scalping, when the market becomes quiet and position-adjusting selling appears, there could be a chance. If it develops into a pattern where I can sell above the 156 yen mid-level, I'll target it.
