[Free Method Available] Tonight's USD/JPY Scalping Points 2024/12/17
This is Tomizaki from Trading Office.
[12/17 USD/JPY Scalping Points]
Thank you for your hard work! Now let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 154.10. This morning it started around 154.10, but during Tokyo time it moved without a clear direction.
There were moments when it rose to around 154.35, but ahead of tomorrow’s FOMC, there was concern about excessive movement, with selling from the high levels, though the downside remained solid.
In the end, it seems likely to carry over almost the same levels from the morning to the overseas session.
Today's Asia high was around 154.35, and Asia low around 153.80.
Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.
● Movements near the London market open around 17:00
● Movements after the US retail sales release at 22:30
● Movements near the New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Be mindful of headlines related to US rate cuts
● Be mindful of headlines related to Bank of Japan rate hikes
● Be mindful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalp, in addition to market open movements, should have opportunities after the 22:30 US retail sales release. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” handling in line with the theory should be fine.
Also, the 15-minute scalp focused on shorts may present opportunities if position adjustments occur ahead of tomorrow’s US FOMC. If there is a setup to sell around 154, we will target it.
Thank you for your continued support today as well!
