[Technique freely available] Tonight's USD/JPY scalping tips 2024/12/16

Thanks for your hard work! Now let's dive into the USDJPY scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently, the USD/JPY is around 153.65. The USD/JPY started around 153.65 in the morning, but with expectations of the Bank of Japan delaying a rate hike in December helping support, the early Tokyo session showed a leaning toward a weaker yen.
It rose to around 153.95 around 11:00.
However, there was no momentum to push it above the 154 level, and it then fell back, ending up nearly at the morning level as we head into the overseas session.
Today's Asia high is around 153.95, and Asia low is around 153.30.
In the morning it looked like it could move into the 154 range, but the upside quickly tightened near 154.
Now, here are the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements near the London market open around 17:00
● Movements after the US NY Fed Manufacturing Index release at 22:30
● Movements near the New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Movements after the US Manufacturing PMI and US Services PMI releases at 23:45
● Be cautious of headlines relating to rate cuts in the US
● Be cautious of headlines relating to BoJ rate hikes
● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
For this evening’s 1-minute chart scalping, opportunities will arise from market open movements plus the post-22:30 NY Fed Manufacturing Index and 23:45 PMI releases. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” you should handle it according to the theory without issue.
Also, for the 15-minute scalping which is short-sell focused, the upside has become heavy near the 154 yen area, so there should be opportunities as well. If we can set up to sell above the mid-153s, I will target it.
